Accessories Galore

I have not done a fashion post in a long time, but that does not mean I have forgotten to find new things. Let me tell you, I am thrilled to share this Etsy find with you. I wear a lot of black and with black you can wear almost any kind of jewelry you want which we know.  One of my favorite looks is a gold necklace with a black top. It’s a simple color palette but it has an edge to it that I love!

So don’t judge my bad hair and makeup, it’s been a long week. This is one of my favorite outfits!

I love the open back. Jeans are Silver Brand from The Buckle. Shirt is from Forever 21. Boots are Lucchase Spirit from Zulily.

I only had one gold necklace but I was in need of another one because I wear the color black so often. Honestly, my other gold necklace is a play toy for me and it drives my husband nuts.  So, needless to say I needed to find a new one to wear.

Now, I have strange taste to say the least or that’s what my mother says.  I have a combination of classic, cooky and eclectic taste, so keep that in mind! I looked at all of my favorite stores online but I ended up on Etsy, which is usually the case. Etsy always seems to have exactly what I am looking for, even if I cannot find it anywhere else.

I happened to find a store on Etsy called the Lost Apostle. Let me tell you, I became obsessed! They have such cool metals, charms and all types of jewelry.  It was a tough decision to make, but I finally decided on the Day of the Dead Mexican Skull. The quality of this necklace is better than any other piece of fashion jewelry I have bought.  The detail is unreal and it adds a little punk to even an average outfit. I can tell you I will be wearing this piece of jewelry for a very long time.

Here is my photo of my necklace, I couldn’t get the lighting quite right but it is more of a gold/bronze than the picture shows.

I loved my necklace so much I even have this wing ring on my Christmas list!
