Mother’s Day is coming up on Sunday and that means all of our favorite moms deserve to be spoiled and pampered. Because let’s face it, who else would put up with our crap? That means some major pampering and gift giving is in order. Instead of doing my usual 5 Things I Love I am doing a Mother’s Day Edition. This one will include great gifts for those mothers or mothers-to-be in your life and in any and all price ranges. Just to let you know, I do have some affiliate links in here.
I have talked about Lisa’s soap before. I am going to talk about it again until I have everyone converted because her products are amazing and beautiful and so smelly. In a good way of course. The soaps are gorgeous and they look high end. But they are price for mortals just like you and I. If you get your mom nothing else, order her a damn shave bar. She will love you forever for giving her the freedom from shaving cream and keeping her from getting razor burn on her legs. But, if you’re ordering her the shave bar you should definitely get her the sugar scrub, Honeycomb Soap, and a Pearberry soap. Put it in a pretty basket and mom will love you forever!
I have talked about these bags before and I am pretty sure they have been on my gift list before as well. Let me tell you, it’s because they are amazing. They keep even the most disorganized person organized (yours truly) and they look beautiful and go with any outfit. These bags are definitely expensive, but they really do stand the test of time. They are high quality and built to stand some heavy use. I have the Libby bag in Caramel it is gorgeous. I actually want the Kelly Green one too but am having a hard time justifying owning two of the same bag. I also really love the Jude tote. It has a ton of great organization options like all of the Kelly Moore bags but it also can be totally emptied out and used as just a regular bag. Now that is multitasking.
Mary Kay Skinvigorate Face Brush
A couple of my friends sell Mary Kay. For those of you that have read my makeup blog I am not very loyal to one brand over another when it comes to makeup. I am always looking for the best product out there. One of my friends asked me if I would be willing to try out some Mary Kay products for my honest opinion. Naturally I said yes, nothing fits me better than honesty and trying out new products. One of the things I tried was the Skinvigorate Face Brush and let me tell you, I am addicted. It is amazing how soft my skin feels. At $50 it is a steal compared to a comparable Clarisonic or any of the other high end brands. I also love that it is waterproof so I can wash my face in the shower rather than having to wash it at the sink after and it is super easy for travel.
If you mom uses liquid or cream foundation, she will love the Beauty Blender. I fought the BB for a long time. I had a great foundation brush to use. Anymore regardless of how often I cleaned it, it seemed to leave my foundation kind of streaky and I just couldn’t figure it out. So, I bought a beauty blender and my life has been changed. It really does leave you with an airbrushed look with no effort. This gift although smaller in price will be a home run for your mom!
If your mom loves to be in the kitchen I have the gift for her. A few months ago I decided to buy myself one of these dutch ovens but in purple of course and I fell in love. I actually want to replace all of my cookware to Le Creuset or cast iron over time because I love them so much. There are a ton of products from Le Creuset that you can pick from for example; the tea drinking mom, the pancake loving mom, and the baking queen of mothers.
My friend Crystal from Crystal Cattle introduced me to Kendra Scott Jewelry. Although I don’t have anything yet, I do think her pieces are gorgeous. The nice thing is she makes each style with several different stones in them. That way if you like those earrings they have them with your different stone options. You can get some gorgeous pieces for well until $100 which is a win if you are on a Mother’s Day budget!
