I watched a video from another beauty blogger where she talked about the Rimmel London Lip Laquer called Show Off. There have been awesome reviews of this product online so naturally I wanted to try it. I headed up to my local Walgreens and picked it up in the color Nova.
If you were like me you might be asking, ‘Ashley, what is a lip laquer?’. This is my interpretation of what a lip laquer is.
If lipstick cheated on it’s significant other with lip gloss and they had a love child. Enter, lip laquer. My definition may not be the most accurate. Here, that doesn’t matter. Since I pay the bills here I say what I want.
Back to the lip product. I picked up the color Nova and it is a rosy pink with a little sparkle to it. The color is very rich and beautiful but it isn’t too intense for the heat of the summer. It has a wonderful shine to it as if you have on gloss, but it isn’t sticky at all. We all know it’s such a bummer when you have perfect lips. Then you walk outside and your hair gets stuck in your lip gloss.
For about $5.50 a tube (at my local store), this lip product is a steal! I will be buying any color and every color I like.
I have become a fan of lip lacquer. Lip gloss is usually too sticky for me, and doesn’t have enough staying power. Glad you signed up for the #ccbeautyswap again. You were a great partner last time.

That is my least favorite part of lip gloss, but the lip lacquer is not’ sticky at all! I’m kind of obsessed. I’m so excited for the #ccbeautyswap and to be paired with Hannah. It’s going to be fun since this is her first time participating.
