Wordless Wednesday: Cooler in the Sauna

You’re probably saying, “A Cooler in the Sauna? Really Ashley, that is ridiculous!”  I know, it really is, but you should know by now that I’m all about ridiculous.  It worked, because it got you here to read and look at this post.

Today, it’s going to be well into the 90’s here in Michigan and it’s going to feel like 100 degrees plus!  In case you didn’t know, that is hot in Michigan.

I mean really hot.

Like hot, as in I might go to Walmart just to be in central air.

Sad I know, but a window air conditioner doesn’t always do it in heat like this.  But I also have a room on the farm that is cool and comfortable.  It’s what we call the tank room.  The reason why it’s so cool is because this is the milk collection tank.  That tank is refrigerated every day of the year. On every hot day of the year, our milk is always cool and fresh.

This is the tank that holds and cools our milk. We keep our milk fresh all days of the year!

Don’t you wish you could just jump right in the tank for a swim?! Ha-ha

It’s blistering hot here in Iowa, too! Successful Farming magazine and Agriculture Online just posted a gift-giving guide for Father’s Day. http://bit.ly/mQb7WW Great gifts for hardworking dads are featured, including a personal cooling system, which sounds much needed for you! Hope you can check it out 🙂

It’s crazy to think so many people across the country are having extremely high temperatures! I hope you stay cool like we’re trying to. I checked out the Father’s Day gift suggestions and all of them were great for the farm dad! Which is great because mine is so hard to buy for. Thanks for reading and the comment Audrey!
