I was informed by some of my loyal readers at Thumb Veterinary Service that I forgot to give everyone an update on Bambi after she calved. I apologize for giving everyone the big buildup and then a HUGE let down. So, thank you ladies for reminding me!

I am happy to report that Bambi is doing wonderful! She is in lactation and happy as a clam. I’m not sure how happy a clam is, or how you know a clam is happy, but it sounded like an appropriate analogy. Now, I’m starting to regret using it.
But I digress, back on topic.
Bambi is doing wonderful and she gave me a wonderful, healthy and happy baby boy! Who, I appropriately named Boy. I know, my naming skills are stellar! But I can’t complain because he’s doing great and so is she.
