Today, I am in a mood to be thankful. I got a reality check and realized I am just as guilty as anyone of taking for granted all that we have. Since tomorrow is the official day for Food Thanks throughout social media I would like to show what I personally am thankful for.

I am thankful for a career that I am passionate about. With this passion, I have been able to be successful and not have to worry about money. My hard work has payed off each day in helping farmers to produce food and to produce food myself. Being in Michigan, I have seen the struggle with the economy and I am thankful for my job.
I am thankful for all of the wonderful people in my life. I have a group of family and friends that are always there for me. They are there to listen, laugh and cry with. Forever, I will be thankful for this supportive crew. Without you all I would not be who I am.
I am thankful for all of the people who provide food and my freedom. Without each farmer and soldier I wouldn’t be here today. To you I am in debt. I will continue to work hard each day because I know you are doing the same.
